Take ownership for creating future enhancements

As a Lead Software Engineer, you’ll be delivering scalable, high performance and secure solutions for our customers. You will build tools to address operational problems and develop creative innovations. You will have ownership for designing challenging engineering solutions that are robust and reliable and directly contribute to our customer’s success.

As a Lead Software Engineer, you will be responsible for:

• Overseeing the architecture, design, support, implementation and troubleshooting of software systems to deliver engineering solutions for customers
• Providing technical thought leadership and guidance to educate peers on best practice and latest technology trends
• Collaborating with internal cross-functional teams to provide updates and to ensure system security and compliance
• Identifying and proposing new innovations for for strategic developments to support changing business needs

Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have an Engineering Degree from an accredited university with minimum 5-6 years of working experience.
• Be able to demonstrate strong experience of software development
• Be proficient in scripting and coding languages including C++, Java or Python
• Have experience of Continuous Integration and Deployment and knowledge of source-control tools such as SVN, GIT or similar
• Have knowledge of building secure, internet facing systems
• Be able to demonstrate the ability to work effectively across functions in a global-matrix environment
• Have great collaboration and communication skills
• Have the ability to provide technical guidance and mentorship to peers
• Have experience of managing large data sets
• Have Experience of designing and implementing cloud computing solutions preferrable
