Job Details:Job Description: Works on Linux Wi-Fi Driver based on IEEE 802.11 (Wi-Fi) wireless technology covering Wi-Fi7 and previous generations. Designs, develops, analyzes, debugs, optimizes, integrates, tests, and/or validates existing or new Linux Wi-Fi Driver Software. Works on requirements defined by System engineers/Architects/Customers to develop the low-level design and take it forward for implementation and testing both on host and actual hardware. Debug complex issues (Both on target and on Host), add Test coverage by developing new scenarios towards stabilization of target platforms. Contributes to continuous improvement of software development best practices along with optimizations and improvements in the Legacy and latest Wi-Fi Driver Software towards current and upcoming generation of NICs.Qualifications:# Industry Experience of 10+ years with Prior hands-on experience of software development using C programming language # Masters or Bachelor of Engineering in ECE, CS, EE # Excellent C Programming and software debug skills # Good knowledge of Wi-Fi IEEE 802.11 specifications # Should have Linux Kernel Device Driver development experience # Should have Linux Wi-Fi Driver development experience # Good knowledge on Python programming # Good capability to break high level System Requirements into Low level design, implementation, and unit testing. # Working experience on WiFi Windows Driver, Linux Driver, and Firmware # Good understanding of Software development environment along with configurations managements and code collaboration tools like Git, Gerrits etc. # Good communication, presentations skills and ability to interface/work with global teams. # Should be self-motivated and a very quick learner willing to pick up new technologies in short time and adapt to fast changing wireless ecosystem based on needJob Type:Experienced HireShift:Shift 1 (India)Primary Location: India, BangaloreAdditional Locations:Business group:The Client Computing Group (CCG) is responsible for driving business strategy and product development for Intel's PC products and platforms, spanning form factors such as notebooks, desktops, 2 in 1s, all in ones.
