CTSI Employees
  • Oversees the development and implementation of policies, programs and/or research based on applied principles of physics in a clinical (radiation oncology) setting.
  • Contributes to the creation, application and efficiency of company services through the work of staff clinical medical physicists, support and technical personnel.
  • Oversees and directs activities such as equipment calibration checks and radiation surveys.
  • Actively contributes to the proper maintenance of equipment and development of policies/procedures and training activities required for conformance to regulatory and professional requirements particularly those related to patient safety.
  • The role will encompass client-site visits in addition to management, communication and mentoring of staff clinical physicists.
  • Experience: M.S. or PhD (preferred) in Medical Physics, or closely related field, required. 5+ years clinical experience with certification or 10 yrs without certification. Certification in Radiation Oncology Physics by the American Board of Radiology, the American Board of Medical Physics (ABR or ABMP) or other appropriate certifying body preferred. Previous leadership experience preferred.

Varian is required to comply with all local and applicable regulations that may be associated with vaccine requirements for certain roles.
