About the Job
As a Data Engineer at Aspire, you will play a crucial role in transforming raw data into actionable insights by leveraging various data analysis and visualization tools. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions, ensuring the delivery of high-quality data visualizations and reports.
What you’ll do- Develop and implement dimensional data modeling and cube development using SSAS, along with creating Power BI or Tableau BI reports with linked content, drilldowns, and nested parameters.
- Utilize the Microsoft technology stack for data visualization, including SSIS, SSAS, and SSRS, to design and optimize BI dashboards for usability, performance, and standardization.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business and information requirements, translating them into technical solutions such as data warehouse designs and analysis services tabular models.
- Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and perform quantitative and qualitative analysis to validate data models and visualizations, ensuring accuracy and reliability.
- Visualize data sets into compelling visuals using Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools, effectively communicating insights to non-technical audiences.
- Work with ETL tools, data modeling, and data warehousing design principles to ensure the efficient extraction, transformation, and loading of data from multiple sources.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in data visualization and business intelligence technologies, continuously enhancing skills and knowledge.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an agile environment, contributing to the overall success of data-related projects and initiatives.
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in data visualization, analysis, or modeling using BI tools such as Power BI, Looker, or Tableau.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python or R, with hands-on experience in roles such as Data Analysis, Data Engineering, or Business Intelligence Engineering.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to manipulate and interpret complex data sets.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts for non-technical audiences.
- Certifications in relevant technologies such as Google Cloud Professional Data Engineer, AWS Certified Data Engineer, or Azure Data Engineer are preferred.
- Passion for data visualization and business intelligence, with a systematic approach to problem-solving and a drive for continuous learning and improvement.
