Position: Legal Assistant

Location: Kuwait - Head Office

Type: Full-time


Position Overview:

The Legal Assistant will play a vital role in providing legal support and assistance to the legal department. You will work closely with the legal team and internal Departments to ensure the smooth functioning of legal operations and compliance with relevant laws and regulations. Your responsibilities will include conducting legal research, drafting legal documents, maintaining legal files, and assisting in various administrative tasks as required.


Responsibilities:

  1. Document Drafting: Assisting in the preparation, review, and drafting of legal documents such as contracts, agreements, memoranda, and correspondence.
  2. Documentation Management: Organizing and maintaining legal files, databases, and documentation systems to ensure efficient retrieval and storage of legal information.
  3. Compliance Support: Assisting in monitoring legal and regulatory compliance requirements and ensuring adherence to applicable laws and regulations.
  4. Contract Management: Assisting in the review and management of contracts, including tracking key dates, maintaining contract templates, and facilitating contract execution processes.
  5. Administrative Support: Providing general administrative support to the legal department, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, preparing meeting minutes, and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.
  6. Communication and Correspondence: Assisting in the preparation of legal reports, presentations, and other communication materials as required.
  7. Legal Updates: Keeping abreast of legal developments, changes in legislation, and industry practices relevant to the organization's operations, and sharing updates with the legal team.
