Job Description

About the role


We are looking for a passionate, high-energy individual who understands Retail Industry. As a Systems Engineer, you will be part of the development team, contributing in design and development of mission critical applications using technologies like X++, Ionic framework, MVC, PL/SQL and Reports.


Roles and Responsibilities


  • Work with project manager, business stakeholders, and third-party application vendors in supporting large and complex Tier ‘1’ application. Assist Technical Lead on CR/Enhancement
  • Development and delivery.
  • Responsible for monitoring production applications, identifying system issues, coordinating /developing corrective and preventive solutions in a timely, effective manner.
  • Participate and facilitate in change release management processes.
  • Work with external solution providers, documenting solution requirements and validating if the vendor solution meets business expectations.
Qualifications

About You


  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree qualified in related disciplines such as Computer Science, IT, Mathematics or Engineering, with at least 6+ years of software development and Minimum 3+ years in ERP retail.
  • Technical experience required for the role
  • Experience in designing and developing IT applications using Microsoft technologies, including X++, C#, ASP.net, MVC, PL/SQL.
  • Hands on experience in technical development of Microsoft Dynamics AX ERP, System Integration, database schema designing, stored procedures, functions and packages using PL/SQL is essential.
  • Knowledge of airport retail, Warehouse operations business process and IT systems context will be an added advantage.
  • Knowledge in supporting large and complex Tier ‘1’ application, including application change and release management processes.
  • Experience in monitoring production applications, identifying system issues, developing corrective and preventive solutions in a timely, effective manner.
