Job Description

Job Title: Document Controller (KSA Nationals only)


Department: Project and Development Services (PDS)


Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia


Job Summary: The Document Controller is responsible for managing and controlling all project documents and records within the PDS team in Riyadh. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, strong organization skills, and the ability to handle large volumes of documentation to ensure smooth and efficient project operations. As a KSA National, you will play a critical role in ensuring compliance with local regulations and standards.


Key Responsibilities:


Document Management:


  • Receive, register, and distribute incoming and outgoing project documents including drawings, specifications, reports, and other related documentation.
  • Maintain accurate file structures and ensure proper version control of all documents.
  • Organize and maintain the document control system, ensuring documents are easily accessible to authorized personnel.
  • Maintain a secure and confidential document control repository

Document Control Processes:


  • Implement and maintain document control processes and procedures in line with company policies.
  • Monitor and track document status and ensure timely review, approval, and distribution.
  • Conduct regular quality checks and audits to ensure accuracy and compliance with established standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to facilitate effective document control throughout the project lifecycle.

Collaboration and Communication:


  • Assist project team members in accessing, retrieving, and updating project documents as needed.
  • Ensure effective communication of document control processes and requirements to project team members.
  • Act as a key point of contact for document-related queries and provide support as required.

Compliance and Reporting:


  • Ensure compliance with relevant local regulations, standards, and client requirements.
  • Generate and maintain accurate document control reports, including tracking and monitoring of document status, approvals, and distribution.

Requirements:


  • KSA National only with a Valid Passport or KSA National ID (KSA National).
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Proven experience as a Document Controller within the construction or real estate industry is preferred.
  • Familiarity with local regulations and requirements related to document control.
  • Proficiency in document control tools and software. ACONEX experience is a must.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage large volumes of documentation.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Fluent in both written and spoken Arabic and English.
