Job Title: Solution Architect

Job Description:
As a Solution Architect, you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing scalable and resilient solutions for our clients in the communications and media industry. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into architectural designs that align with best practices and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and architect end-to-end solutions that meet business needs and align with enterprise architecture standards.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure technical solutions are implemented effectively and efficiently.
- Provide guidance and recommendations on technology selection, integration patterns, and architectural best practices.
- Lead the design and implementation of cloud-based solutions, with a preference for experience with Azure. This includes designing for scalability, availability, and performance.
- Utilize DevSecOps practices and tools to ensure security and compliance requirements are met throughout the development lifecycle.
- Design and implement integrations using service-oriented architecture (SOA) and event-driven architecture principles.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams throughout the project lifecycle.
- Conduct architecture reviews and provide feedback to ensure alignment with architectural principles and best practices.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends, and evaluate their potential impact on our solutions.
Skills
Preferred Skills:
- Extensive experience with cloud platforms, preferably Azure, including hands-on experience with Azure services such as Azure App Service, Azure Functions, Azure SQL Database, and Azure DevOps.
- Proficiency with MS Dynamics or SalesForce suite is a must, including experience with customization and integration.
- Strong understanding of DevSecOps practices and tools, including CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code (IaC), and automated security testing.
- Certification or experience in enterprise solution architecture standards (e.g., TOGAF) is highly desirable.
- Hands-on experience with unified modeling languages such as UML or BPMN.
- Deep understanding of integration patterns, SOA, and event-driven architecture, with practical experience implementing these patterns in real-world projects.
- Familiarity with web and mobile technologies, including frameworks such as Angular, React, or Xamarin.
Knowledge and Experience:
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in the IT industry, with a focus on software architecture and design.
- 7+ years of experience in software engineering, with a minimum of 5+ years in software architecture design.
- Proven experience in the communications and media industry, with a solid understanding of industry-specific challenges and requirements.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and translate them into practical solutions.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
