Job Purpose
- Preparation of all Technical Material documentation for projects
- Projects Samples and mock up submittals follow up
- Contact focal point for consultants and fabricators in GCC region
- Responsible to keep projects file updated/ project knowledge management
- Support the implementation of systems for project tracking to ensure transparency of spec selling pipeline and commercial results
- Frontline sales person responsible for the execution of agreed sales and profitability targets established by the ME Unit within the assigned sales area by acquiring new business and maintaining existing customers
Key Accountabilities
- Gather market and competitor intelligence and assess the opportunities to be included in the architectural business strategy
- Ensure effective launch of newly developed products to architects/ consultants/ fabricators
- Preparation of all Technical Material documentation for projects
- Projects Samples and mock up submittals follow up
- Contact focal point for consultants and fabricators in GCC region
- Responsible to keep projects file updated/ project knowledge management
- Manage a portfolio of customers in a designated area, to execute sales plan
- Systematically screen customer base for new opportunities, generates lead and maintains pipeline.
- Identify, plan and develop new customers in line with business development plans/targets, especially in the Architecture and trade coater segments
- Provide appropriate levels of contact, service and support to ensure sales targets are achieved.
- Plans own visit schedule in line with agreed customer service levels for that customer segment.
Experience & Role Requirements
- Bachelor's in Engineering or relevant field, MBA in Marketing (desirable)
- 2-3 years working experience in specification selling in GCC region, in the Paints and Coatings industry
- Excellent communications skills (writing, presenting, speaking), with fluency in English
- Knowledge of, or experience in, powder coatings will be an advantage
- Must have good leadership skills
- Strong negotiator with good closing skills
- Creative, self-motivated, energetic and determined
- Numerate, financially astute
