Overview of the role:
As a technician, your primary responsibility is to ensure the technical integrity and functionality of the Linde Material Handling Equipment by conducting mechanical and electrical repairs, troubleshooting, and diagnosing faults. Your goal is to address issues promptly and effectively.
What you will do:
• Conduct mechanical and electrical repairs, troubleshooting, and diagnosing on the Linde Electric forklifts, Diesel Forklifts, VNA and other warehouse equipment
• Recommend effective solutions for identified faults, aiming to resolve issues correctly on the first attempt
• Proactively identify potential problem causes while attending jobs, whether in the workshop or at the field
• Utilize tools and adhere to best practices outlined in service manuals to enhance productivity and efficiency
• Read, comprehend, and implement instructions from workshop manuals, utilizing service checklists where applicable and available
• Use of Linde diagnostic software to troubleshoot and repair
Required skills to be successful:
• Proficient communication skills in English
• Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting abilities
• Proficiency in utilizing Linde Service Software, tools and following best practices outlined in service manuals
• Ability to read, understand, and implement instructions from workshop manuals, electric and hydraulic diagrams
• Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills
About the team:
The team consists of dedicated technicians committed to maintaining the highest standards of technical excellence in servicing the Linde Material Handling Equipment. What equips you for the role:
• 2 to 3 years of experience in service and repair of Linde electric & diesel forklifts, and VNA
• ITI Diploma or Electrical or Mechanical Engineering qualification
• Demonstrated technical expertise in independently servicing, repairing, and overhauling components of forklifts
• Possession of a valid Qatar driving license is advantageous
