Job Description

  1. Client Accounts, Audit, and Tax: Will be responsible for maintaining client’s accounting, VAT, and Corporate Tax-related records.
  • Quarterly/Yearly maintenance of client’s accounting transactions in compliance with generally acceptable accounting standards and relevant tax laws.
  • Processing client’s VAT registration, VAT filing, VAT refund, and VAT deregistration.
  • Processing of client’s Corporate Tax Registration and filing.
  • Processing of client’s Tax Residency Certificate
  • Ensure timely compliance with the client’s legal requirements including VAT, Corporate Tax, and Audit
  • Coordination with clients, account managers, auditors, and authorities.
  • Provide tax consultation to clients and prospective clients.
  1. Company Accounts: Will be responsible for maintaining records, preparing invoices, and other tasks as per the required standards in coordination with the accounts team.

 

  • Perform day-to-day accounting transactions in compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Post customer payments by recording cash, checks, and credit card transactions.
  • Generating invoices and account statements.
  • Preparation of revenue report for management.
  • Coordination with account managers for collection of receivables.
  • Facilitate payment to suppliers and other disbursements.
  • Processing of payroll through WPS.
  • Ensure timely compliance with legal requirements such as VAT return processing and reporting.
  • Manage month-end closing procedures with the preparation of financial statements.

 



Skills


  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy – CA/CPA/ACCA (preferable but not mandatory)
  • Minimum of 3-4+ years of experience in General Accounting and Reporting
  • Knowledge of ERP Based Accounting Software
  • Knowledge of UAE VAT and Corporate Tax Regulations and Processes
  • Knowledge of Banking Procedures and Processes
  • Computer Application Skills: MS Office, Accounting Software
  • UAE work experience is Mandatory
  • Strong Communication and interpersonal Skills are required
