1. Tests all control for proper and safe operation.
2. Travels the crane from shop to job site and vice-versa.
3. Parks the crane in proper working position.
4. Safely maneuvers the crane for raising, lowering and swinging load.
5. Interprets and executes hand signals pertaining to crane operation.
6. May travel the crane over long distances from job site to job site.
7. Accepts work assignment and reports to the immediate superior work progress and/or completion.
8. Clarifies works directives of immediate superior and check on job requirements prior to work execution.
9. Analyzes the defects of the tools/machine/equipment and identifies items to be replaced, if any.
10. Undertakes applied maintenance on tools being utilized to accomplish the assigned task.
11. Works harmoniously with co-workers to simplify job.
12. Carries along measuring tapes for the duration of work – shift.
13. Suggests/feedbacks to superiors better system of work execution to simplify assigned task.
