Job Description

  1. Develop and implement engaging and culturally relevant lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and learning objectives.
  2. Teach Arabic language skills, including speaking, listening, reading, and writing, using a variety of instructional strategies and resources.
  3. Assess student learning through formative and summative assessments, providing feedback to support their language development and proficiency.
  4. Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs and abilities of students, including those with varying levels of proficiency and background knowledge.
  5. Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that celebrates Arabic language and culture, fostering respect, curiosity, and a sense of belonging.
  6. Incorporate authentic materials, literature, and cultural artifacts into instruction to enhance student engagement and understanding.
  7. Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues regarding student progress, achievements, and areas for growth.
  8. Collaborate with colleagues to align Arabic language instruction with other subject areas and promote interdisciplinary learning experiences.
  9. Participate in professional development activities, including workshops, conferences, and collaborative planning meetings, to stay updated on best practices in language teaching.
  10. Engage in reflective practice and continually seek opportunities for professional growth and improvement as an Arabic language educator.

Skills

  1. Bachelor's degree in Arabic language, Education, or a related field.
  2. Teaching certification or licensure for Arabic language instruction (if required by the state or country).
  3. Proficiency in Modern Standard Arabic (MSA) and/or regional Arabic dialects, depending on the context of instruction.
  4. Previous teaching experience preferred, but not required for entry-level positions.
  5. Strong knowledge of Arabic language pedagogy and instructional strategies.
  6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
  7. Cultural competence and sensitivity to promote understanding and appreciation of Arabic language and culture.
  8. Classroom management skills and the ability to create a positive and supportive learning environment.
  9. Flexibility and adaptability to meet the diverse needs of students and adjust instruction as needed.
  10. Passion for teaching Arabic language and fostering language fluency, cultural understanding, and global citizenship among students.



  1. درجة البكالوريوس أو أعلى في اللغة العربية، أو التربية، أو مجال ذي صلة.
  2. شهادة تدريس أو ترخيص لتدريس اللغة العربية (إذا كان مطلوبًا من قبل الدولة أو البلد).
  3. الإلمام باللغة العربية الفصحى و/أو اللهجات العربية الإقليمية، اعتمادًا على سياق التدريس.
  4. الخبرة السابقة في التدريس مرغوبة، ولكن ليست مطلوبة للوظائف الرتب الأولية.
